First of all, the book tries to explain the conquest of Istanbul story with historical data and also it is consists of nine chapters. Each chapter is approximately 8 or 10 pages so the novel is not too long, just 283 pages. Chapter 1 and 2 describe before the siege and explain what feel both emperors. In Generally, Siege does not explain just political events, preparatory of military, collision. Nevertheless, it is meaning of emperor, sultans, and soldiers personal story at the same time because this siege has many different meanings for humans and emperors.
The book’s written language is very impressive and fluent. The author added some sprinkle literary word and it has been helped to understandable of novel. Especially historical novels should not too long because it can be boring to reader but we could say short to this novel. The author is planning the novel like 9 chapters, end of the 9 chapter all chapters are combined by author. This is the author’s success.

Positive sides of this novel are that, it is not too long and it does not boring to reader. Written language is so successful. The important point is that, all chapters are not independence of each other. In terms of me, cover design is very attractive to readers and this is the good example of how should be good, success product sale.
Negative side of this novel is that, I think the author was explained shortly in terms of collision. If he give more detail about collision may be contribute more impress to his novel.
